Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo haven't revealed much information about the two expansions. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's first DLC, "Battle of Zhongyuan," depicted the rise of the warlord Cao Cao at the beginning of China's Three Kingdoms period. Meanwhile, the paid DLC introduces new story content, new weapon types, new missions, new difficulty levels, new enemies, new end-game content, and more. The other free content begins with the launch of Boss Rush Part 2, and Wo Long is getting new Wizardry Spells in September and December. He did not go into details about the upcoming crossovers but said that Team Ninja is working hard to make content that Nioh and Lies of P fans will appreciate. However, Wo Long director Hidehiko Nakajima confirmed that the upcoming crossovers will differ significantly from the earlier collaboration. Wo Long previously crossed over with NetEase's free-to-play battle royale Naraka: Bladepoint, allowing Naraka players to unlock exclusive Wo Long-themed content. The Nioh crossover arrives two months later in November. Wo Long's Lies of P collaboration also launches in September, roughly coinciding with the game's release. There are also five free updates introducing balance changes and new content. This includes the second and third paid DLCs, "Conqueror of Jiangdong" and "Upheaval in Jinxiang," in September and December. Team Ninja recently revealed Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's development roadmap covering the second half of 2023.
